Volunteer Position: Outreach Coordinator
Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours/week
About the Role
As an Outreach Coordinator, you will help expand Unity Impact Group’s network by building meaningful connections with community organizations, local businesses, and volunteers. Your efforts will help strengthen partnerships, increase awareness of our events, and boost community involvement in our mission-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and reach out to potential community partners, sponsors, and collaborators
Represent Unity Impact Group at local events and networking opportunities (in person or virtually)
Help manage community outreach campaigns and email communications
Maintain a database of contacts and track outreach efforts
Assist in recruiting and coordinating volunteers for upcoming events
Work closely with the team to ensure inclusivity and diversity in community engagement
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outgoing and proactive approach to building relationships
Organized and reliable with strong follow-through
Previous outreach, community organizing, or volunteer coordination experience is a plus
Deep interest in community-building and social causes
