Volunteer Position: Fundraising Coordinator
Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours/week
About the Role
As a Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in helping Unity Impact Group secure the resources needed to plan and execute meaningful events that support local causes. You will assist in designing and implementing creative fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, and coordinating fundraising campaigns and events.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of fundraising initiatives (e.g., online campaigns, charity events, silent auctions)
Research and identify potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities
Assist in writing and editing fundraising materials, donor letters, and proposals
Help track donations and maintain accurate fundraising records
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising efforts
Build relationships with supporters and act as a passionate ambassador for Unity Impact Group’s mission
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with attention to detail
Comfortable with outreach and relationship-building
Experience with fundraising, sales, or marketing is an asset (but not required)
Passion for community development and social impact
